Before starting an electrical installation, check that the work area is de-energized. In order to be able to test electric alternating fields or detect possible sources of error, a voltage tester is needed. A first indication of whether there is voltage freedom is possible with the non-contact Wiha voltage tester thanks to optical signal. After switching on the voltage tester, the green LED indicates that the voltage tester is ready for use. If there is voltage, the red LED lights up, which is also easy to read in daylight. The voltage tester requires two AAA batteries, which are included in the delivery. The voltage tester can easily be in any shirt or trouser pocket thanks to its practical size and clip. Due to the internationally adapted measuring tip, the voltage tester is suitable for all socket variants. The single-pole voltage tester is covered by the standard EN 61010-1 / IEC 61326 and is designed for CAT IV 1,000 VAC.
