Sigma DM short circuit indicator 400-2000A

The Sigma DM is a directional short-circuit and earth fault indicator with clear fault direction indication. It is equipped with an RS485 interface for the transmission of measured values and error messages via the Modbus RTU protocol.

Suitable, closed current sensors are available for any gas- and solid-insulated medium-voltage system for installation via the cone in the cable panels. Subsequent installation of divisible current sensors around the medium-voltage cable, even in air-insulated systems, is also possible. The phase voltage as well as the reference signal for the fault direction indication is provided by the WEGA voltage detection system. The voltage signal is automatically adapted to the switchgear over 24h or can be adjusted manually via push-buttons or the Sigma Explorer configuration software. Readiness for operation is indicated via the status LED.
