When replacing indexable inserts, it is very important to tighten them in a controlled manner with the prescribed torque, so that they are not damaged. The torque screwdriver iTorque® helps with this, which can be described with key words such as intelligent, innovative and individual. With the cap on the end of the iTorque® screwdriver handle, the desired Nm value can be set easily and steplessly. It is also possible to change the torque unit from Nm to in.lbs. Using the large digital display with numerical display, the set Nm value can be read easily and quickly. With a precision of +/- 6%, the torque tool meets the requirements of EN ISO 6789. An integrated counter documents the number of tightenings, which is particularly important in connection with monitoring control tools. The alarm function reminds the user in a timely manner of the established calibration cycle, which is set at the factory to 5,000 tensionings and can be individually adapted as needed. Furthermore, the ergonomic handle with soft zones enables optimal handling of the torque screwdriver. The set includes a universal bit holder for 1/4 bits. iTorque® is also compatible with Wiha Torque 4 mm replaceable blades (series 2859).
