Dip coated insulation. 2 layers of safety color coded insulation. For work under voltage up to 1000 V according to IEC 60900. Made of high alloy steel. The square is provided with a slotted screw so that the top can be locked. 2 coatings with different colors indicating safety or danger. Plus a third in black to protect the handle edges. This provides protection as well as a visual warning system. If the outer layer of insulation becomes damaged, the lighter color underneath will become visible and alert the user. Each tool is tested at 10,000V for 10 seconds at the end of the manufacturing cycle
