Holders with the suffix QC have a Quick-Change mechanism that requires no additional tools to change the hole saw. The 3834-ARBR-9100, -11152 and -16152 are equipped with the Power Driver™ driver, which increases resistance and prevents backlash between the holder and the hole saw by redistributing the load from the thread to the solid casing. The holders can be used together with carbide hole saws, but we recommend using center drill 3834-DRL-CT with a carbide tip for sawing in abrasive materials. The holders can be used for universal hole saws, but this requires the drill to be replaced with the 3834-DRL. HSS center drill included with all holders, must be used for metal and wood work.
