Access to deep-seated screws is often hindered because the blade diameter of traditional 1000v screwdrivers is too large. However, removing the insulation is not permitted and also endangers the user's safety. On tools with Wiha slimTECHNOLOGY, developed especially for tasks on electrical parts, the protective insulation is integrated into the blade to achieve up to 33% slimmer blades. This means that even deep-seated screw and spring elements can be reached without difficulty with slimBits. The insulated slimBits are individually tested according to the international standard IEC 60900 and make it possible to work safely in areas with parts that have voltages of up to 1,000 V AC.

6 mm slimBits may only be used in slimVario® bit holder and slimTorque VDE bit holder (VDE torque system).
