The HOTBEAM 04 is an extremely compact and flat designed under heater. Powered by infrared technology, a versatile 105 x 130mm² heating area is provided. The HOTBEAM 04 heating area is protected by a glass cover and therefore very robust and easy to lean. It is proven, serving a variety of electronic and industrial applications worldwide. Using the intuitive menu on the large digital display, all operating modes (Constant Power, Constant Temperature and Profile) can be easily operated. The Auto Profiler feature of the software determines required device settings automatically to attain desired PCB temperature. The settings can be stored in up to 50 recipes. All recopies run the under heater without need to continuously attach thermocouples to PCB. The innovative heat management system guarantees highest process repeatability. The independently switchable IR lamps are protected by an IR glass. This makes cleaning of the hot area from flux for electronic components easy and simple. HOTBEAM 04 can be configured that external devices becomes active when heating process starts. Alternatively the device may start upon a command from external system i.e. PLC or foot pedal. Using EASYBEAM, the PC Software, profile data can be recoded from the device and saved on PC via USB communication.
